The compliance channel
PATH COMPLIANCE
The directory answers who holds a key. It must not answer with a name, a KYC tier, or a document. When two members need to exchange counterparty data, that exchange is a different channel — named, so it does not get smuggled into a lookup.

What ships
A specified channel: what may be requested, what may be returned, who signs, how long it is kept. Separate from SONAR. Separate from RESOLVER. A lookup that includes a profile remains a disclosure, and a fail.
What it is not
PATH as a KYC vendor. Regulated issuers stay the regulated parties. PATH moves attestations, not documents.
